Corporal Steve Clifton has been serving the City of Muleshoe since 1996. He began his service as a Certified Telecommunications Officer before graduating the Collin County Law Enforcement Academy in 1999. Officer Clifton is a certified S.W.A.T. Operator and has attended advanced rifle training.  He is a member of the tactical team and is also a member of the Emergency Management Team. Officer Clifton is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician.

     Officer Clifton’s duties include being the liaison between the patrol division and the Patrol Sergeant, traffic enforcement, and responding to emergency, immediate and routine calls for service, apprehending offenders and traffic control.
