Sgt. Shane Kirk has been with the Muleshoe Police Department since 2002. He is a graduate of the South Plains College Law Enforcement Academy. Sgt. Kirk is a Certified S.W.A.T. Operator and is the Tactical Team Leader.  He has attended Desert Snow Highway Interdiction Training, and is a certified K-9 Handler.  He is a 2007 graduate of the Command Staff Leadership and Development Series with the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.

     Sgt. Kirk’s duties include the direct supervision over Patrol Division and the department’s K-9 Unit.
