Detective Cassie Crandell

 Detective Crandell has been with the Muleshoe Police Department since 2000.  She began her service as a certified Telecommunications Officer before graduating from the South Plains Association of Government Law Enforcement Academy.  Detective Crandell is a graduate of the Weatherford College Forensic Investigations Academy and is a member of the Homicide Investigators of Texas.  She is the Public Information Officer and Evidence Technician for the department. She is also a tactical team member.

     Detective Crandell’s duties include criminal investigations, crime scene processing, evidence collection and storage.  She relays information between the media and department administration, and serves as liaison between crime victims and the Attorney General’s Office.
