Zanea Carpenter Promoted to Deputy City Secretary

The Texas Registered Municipal Clerk Certification program is a professional development program that provides knowledge and methods to execute the duties of the municipal clerk as well as develop familiarity with the theory and practices of local government. Successful completion of the Texas Registered Municipal Certification program requires approximately 200 hours of individual study and written home work; four exams over each of the four courses and attendance at eight two day seminars. Zanea Carpenter has completed the requirements for certification. She received her certificate on January 30 in Austin. Zanea joins an elite group of over 525 Texas Registered Municipal Clerks across Texas.

Zanea has also completed her Associate Degree from Clovis Community College, serves as treasure for the Trinity Baptist Church, and is very involved in the activities of her three daughters.

With the designation of TRMC and her commitment to the citizens of Muleshoe, Zanea has earned the title of Deputy City Secretary for the City of Muleshoe.
