Muleshoe Fire Department Receives New Fire Truck
The Muleshoe Fire Department took delivery of a 2008 Class A Pumper Truck on Friday March 14, 2008. This truck was purchased from Daco Fire Equipment of Lubbock and built by Rosenbauer Central States.
The new 1,000 gpm Pumper is built on a Freightliner chassis and comes equipped with the latest equipment including:
• Elkhart 30 gpm "Sidewinder" with joystick control mounted on front bumper
• Dual Class A and Class B foam system
• 1,000 gallon poly tank
• Standard hoses, ladders, fire poles, suction hoses, nozzles, etc.
The will replace the 1978 Ford pumper as the city's primary fire fighting unit. |
