Lt. Parker is a graduate of South Plains College Law Enforcement Academy and has been serving with the Muleshoe Police Department since 1993. He holds a Master Peace Officer License and is the Fire Marshall for the City of Muleshoe.  Lt. Parker is the program manager for the Texas Best Practices Recognition Program.  He is certified as a Basic Narcotic Investigator through the DEA. Other certifications include Criminal Investigator, and Fire Investigator.  Lt. Parker is a graduate of the Command Staff Leadership and Development Series with the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas. Lt. Parker recently earned his TCLEOSE instructor's license and is a firearms instructor.

      Lt. Parker’s duties include the direct supervision of the Administrative Secretary, Communications Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and the Patrol Sergeant.
