Keys presented to new homes

Four Muleshoe families received the keys to new homes provided by the City of Muleshoe and the Texas Department of Rural Affairs.

The HOME Program is funded with federal dollars allocated to TDRA for Owner-Occupied Housing Assistance to provide safe, decent, efficient, affordable housing to income qualifying home owners to replace substandard homes.

The City's contribution was In-Kind labor, equipment, and disposal cost.

The 1,100 square foot hardy board siding two and three bedroom homes were constructed by Qualls Construction of Abernathy.
